AEA HR can be installed like an app: it gets its own icon on your phone's home screen or your computer's desktop and opens in its own window, without the browser's address bar. It is the same AEA HR you use in the browser, with the same sign-in, and it updates itself.
Android phone or tablet
- Open AEA HR in Chrome and sign in.
- Choose your name (top right) → Install app, or open Chrome's menu ⋮ → Add to Home screen → Install.
iPhone or iPad
- Open AEA HR in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Windows, Mac or Chromebook
- Chrome or Edge: choose your name → Install app, or the install icon at the right of the address bar.
- Safari on a Mac: File → Add to Dock.
- Firefox cannot install web apps; keep using AEA HR as a website, or open it in Chrome or Edge to install it.
Good to know
- The app needs an internet connection. Nothing about your leave is stored on the device, so it is safe on a shared computer; sign out as usual when you finish.
- If the connection drops, you see a "You're offline" page. Choose Try again when you are back online.
- To remove it, delete it like any other app: press and hold the icon on a phone, or open the app's menu on a computer and choose Uninstall.
Don't see Install app under your name? Your browser may not offer it, or the app is already installed. Follow the steps above for your device instead.
